I listened to a live stream of just the audio in real time of this show, and i have to say i was quite impressed.
in typical ween style the songs and set had a blistering pace, yet elegantly done. the song variety of this band is something to be marveled at, right up there with Phish and the Grateful dead with a staggering amount of songs in their repertoire. Featuring 6 White Pepper songs out of a 30 song setlist was exciting for me, because I am a big fan of that album.
Other notable songs/moments;
-[voodoo lady > Kiss (prince cover > Voodoo lady] was an awesome segue section.
-early mid-set there was an acoustic section, I think consisting of six songs ['joppa road' thru 'i dont want it' ] and it was very cool to hear.
-not sure i would have pegged ween covering Dazed and Confused by led zep for some reason, but they nailed it. really fierce, heavy, weighed down type feeling, love it.
-silly Big Jilm, gotta love it. BIG JILM!
-After a short encore break, they come out with a totally amazing middle eastern intro to [I can't put my finger on it] and its certainly worth a listen. Then a straighforward Captain Fantasy, and a very nice Baby Bitch to round out the three set encore.
They played the night before, and had one more night for New Years Eve, but in my summation this was a fantastic show, especially for a second night.
